Chopper Spins Wildly into Palm Fronds at Frequented Southern California Shoreline
A chopper soaring above a popular California beach suddenly started spinning wildly, finally descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm groves as spectators looked on.
Videos uploaded online show the chopper starting to spin near Huntington Beach then descending towards the edge of the coast, where it becomes wedged amidst palms and a staircase near the shoreline route.

Emergency responders stated five people were transported to a medical facility including two who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the incident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
